Lead Counsel Sunshine Square Law Offices 123 Main Street, Suite 420 Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 December 10, 2024 Vince Grzegorek, Editor-in-Chief Cleveland Scene Magazine 737 Bolivar Road, Suite 4100 Cleveland, OH 44115 RE: Defamation and Demand for Correction in December 4th “Worst of Cleveland” Article Dear Mr. Grzegorek, I represent the Strongsville GOP, an organization recently and egregiously defamed in your December 4, 2024, “Worst of Cleveland” article. While the article listed our client as the second worst thing in Cleveland, this ranking is both inaccurate and an underestimation of our client’s standing in the community. Clearly, by all reasonable metrics, the Strongsville GOP deserves the honor of being named the worst thing in Cleveland, surpassing even Jimmy Haslam in ignominy. Your publication’s failure to recognize this distinction has not only caused irreparable harm to our client’s reputation as a political pariah but has also sown confusion among your readers, who trust Cleveland Scene for its unvarnished critique of Cleveland’s cultural landscape. We hereby demand that Cleveland Scene immediately amend the article to designate the Strongsville GOP as the worst thing in Cleveland. Furthermore, we require this correction to be published prominently, with equal or greater visibility than the original defamatory content. If Cleveland Scene fails to comply with these demands within seven (7) days from the date of this letter, our client will pursue all available legal remedies, including but not limited to filing a defamation suit seeking monetary damages and equitable relief. We trust that you will take this matter seriously and act promptly to rectify your grievous error. Sincerely, Mitch Martin, Esq. Sunshine Square Law Offices |
