August 29, 2024 The Strongsville GOP is proud to announce the adoption of a resolution in strong opposition to the recent implementation of the Strongsville City School District’s random drug testing policy for students. This resolution reflects our deep commitment to protecting individual liberties and ensuring that government actions respect the rights of our students and their families. Key Points of the Resolution:
As a result of these concerns, the Strongsville GOP does not support the efforts to randomly drug test students without cause and strongly opposes any policy that compels our children to submit to such invasive measures without proper justification. We call upon the Strongsville City School District Board of Education to rescind this overreaching policy and instead implement measures that respect the rights and freedoms of all individuals within our school community.
