16th Congressional District Poll Results: Gonzalez Ahead By 14%, Trump Remains Popular With Base While Kasich Support Erodes
STRONGSVILLE, OHIO – The Strongsville GOP commissioned a poll on April 20-24 of 907 voters in the 16th Congressional district likely to vote in the May 8th Republican Primary election. The complete poll results can be found at www.StrongsvilleGOP.com and will discussed at our next public meeting on Monday, May 14th at 7pm at The Strongsville Old Town Hall. “The results clearly show a preference for our endorsed candidate for congress, Anthony Gonzalez” said Shannon Burns, President of the Strongsville GOP. “It also shows that the successes enjoyed by the Trump Administration have not gone unnoticed by the base with 89% of Republicans approving of President Trump’s performance as President. The result that surprised me the most was how disliked Governor John Kasich is by the Republican base -- grading him with a 56% disapproval rating.” The Strongsville GOP is dedicated to working for good government and advancing the ideals of the Republican Party in Strongsville, Ohio and the Nation.
