Governor’s Office
Riffe Center, 30th Floor
77 S High St.

Ohio Senate
1 Capital Square
2nd Floor
SH-201
Columbus, Ohio 43215

Dear Governor DeWine & Members of the Ohio Senate,

We, the undersigned members of the Republican State Central Committee, write to you with a resolute challenge and a united voice. We call upon you and the Ohio Senate to expeditiously and wholeheartedly pass House Bill 68 (HB68) - the SAFE Act, and House Bill 8 (HB8) - the Parents Right To Know Act, in their current form. We firmly believe that enacting these bills is crucial for safeguarding the protection and well-being of Ohio's women, children, and individuals facing mental health challenges. We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the Ohio House of Representatives for their diligence in advancing these important pieces of legislation that mark a significant milestone in safeguarding the well-being of Ohioans.

HB68 and HB8 represent crucial steps towards protecting the fundamental rights of Ohioans. These bills provide essential protections for individuals grappling with body and gender dysmorphia issues, particularly children who deserve our utmost care and guidance. By upholding parental rights, these bills empower families to make the best decisions for their loved ones, respecting their unique circumstances and needs. Parental rights should have precedence over the schools, physicians, and mental health professionals.

We believe that the innocence of childhood is a precious treasure that should be preserved at all costs. HB68 and HB8 strike a resounding blow against the troubling trend of early childhood sexualization, ensuring that our children are shielded from harmful influences and are allowed to flourish in an environment that nurtures their growth, well-being, and moral development. Moreover, these bills play a pivotal role in dismantling the pervasive Marxist ideologies that have insidiously infiltrated academia, our government, and our public school system. As conservatives, Republicans, and proud proponents of
traditional family values and Christian beliefs, we stand united against any force that undermines the bedrock principles upon which our great nation was built. HB68 and HB8 represent a clarion call to return to the timeless values that have shaped Ohio's character, providing a resolute stance against ideologies that seek to erode our traditions and heritage.

We encourage you to join us in our unwavering commitment to the well-being of Ohioans and the preservation of our founding principles. We respectfully request your immediate attention to this pressing matter, and we encourage you to use your office to advocate for their passage in the Senate and take swift
action by signing them into law.

Ohioans have entrusted their elected representatives with the duty to protect their interests, defend their rights, and champion their values. We, the undersigned members of the Republican State Central Committee, are proud to uphold this responsibility and will continue to advocate for legislation that
fosters a brighter future for all Ohioans.

With all due respect and expectation,
